I think this is a good return for White Sox. A more proven prospect bat in Busch and a catching prospect who did great in their only year since being drafted.

The white sox will most likely be out of contention if they get rid of Anderson, especially with Guardians having a good year and twins making smart trades and signings.

Dodgers get their SS and an impact bat for the next two years.

If the Dodgers want to bite, do it! With Colin Montgomery coming up fast and finally securing a good, young catcher along with a good left-handed bat for 2b, Andrus can play SS well for one year. If TA was a good defensive shortstop, I would keep him. But his good offense doesn’t override his bad defense. Come July, TA’s value may not be as high!

Good thing for Dodgers is they need more offense than defense. Besides second base they have more proven defensive players than proven offensive players. So bad defense isn’t a deal breaker for dodgers. Not to say that Anderson’s defense is horrible.

Last thing the White Sox need is an old prospect that is actually a free swinging 1B and likely not a 2B at the MLB level. Zero chance the White Sox are this desperate to move TA with another year of very team friendly control. Throw in an arm or two and maybe they consider it.

Anderson has a lifetime dWar of 3.2 so the notion that’s he’s a horrible fielder isn’t true. He missed 70 games last year due to injury which cut into his production. Busch looks like a DH in the making, without a true position. Rushing is a nice “bat first” catcher that needs work on his defense but with the likelihood of robot umps soon, would be a nice piece. What other prospects would the LAD consider?

Nastrini & Frasso switched out for Busch? Dodgers just favor their pitching prospects heavily so I don’t see it.

Switch out Busch for Vargas (29.7 median). WSox add Cespedes (2.4) or Cannon (3.4) to even out the numbers.
