-Ulnar Neuritis is one of those maladies that have limited prognoses.. With a pitcher like Justin Campbell, it’s essential to define what caused the entrapment of the ulnar nerve and to provide physical therapy that reduces the chance of recurrence or continuation of the malady. How it affects his pitching is anyone’s guess, however, most pitchers that get this treatment recover fully with an undefined time frame of three months or more… If all is going well in his rehabilitation, we might start to hear about recovery excerpts in extended spring training some time in early/mid June.. Just a guess..
Understood w/r to Angel Martinez v Tyler Freeman.. I think you’re incorrect..
I really doubt Cleveland is willing to give up this much for Rooker (at least at the moment…)
Though Rooker for Angel Martinez swap, on paper would be possible, but I doubt Cleveland adds in a pitcher like Campbell. They would think about a Gaddis though, but even then, I am really doubting they would give up more than Tena plus Gaddis for Rooker at the moment…
Like I’ve said elsewhere, Rooker’s performance needs to be taken with many grains of salt at present. But if his numbers are holding steady come July then the Guardians need to offer more than Tena and Gaddis or he will not be playing in Cleveland.
That’s fair! It really does just depend on how he is doing and how someone like Gonzalez is doing as well. He’s been hitting really well since being sent down. I think with him it’s more of staying to his game and not trying to be someone else.
I want to know how in the hell Freeman’s value has fallen so dramatically after hitting 329/468/482/950 in AAA this season and continues to hit as well in Cleveland since being called up(SSS). It’s ridiculous and his value should be 15-20 where it was prior to the start of the season.
Is there any update on Justin Campbell’s elbow injury?
I’m not a fan of Freeman, I’d prefer Angel Martinez at a similar BTV.
a couple of points….

Thanks for the info on Campbell, I’ll try and keep an eye out for news of his return next month.
As for Martinez vs. Freeman… yeah, I could be wrong. But I’m willing to take that bet if there was a suitable arm to pair with him.
