I would imagine most teams don’t, only reason I picked Cleveland because they are getting very little offense from the outfield.
Pham’s standard stats aren’t good but his BABIP is .200 which is very low, and his average exit velo is 93.1, higher than last years 92.2 number that was in the 93rd percentile of hitters. His expected batting avg and slugging pct is .268 and .499, way better than his actual .188 and .348.
Mets adding 3 mil makes him pretty cost effective, he’s due to bounce back
If you look at Cleveland’s BABIP from the RF position it’s been around the .200 mark as well. You have to remember Valera is coming off of injury and is likely going to be there as the season progresses and he has a ton of power potential.
Pham makes absolutely no sense and I have a hunch unless the Mets add 10 million to the deal, they wouldn’t want anything to do with Pham, even then, they would just cut the guy. I have never see a legit rumor of Cleveland even wanting him when he was a free agent.
Also to get Pham they would have to cut someone from the 40 man roster, and that would cut a 45-50 FV value prospect… That’s doesn’t make any sense either…
I believe they will trade for a veteran player, but Pham is someone they won’t touch unless you paid them to take him…
Fair enough, was just an idea. I guess in hindsight I should’ve picked a guy who is on their 40 now (Herrin?) but I didn’t think any of those guys made much sense to move, so that’s that
I’d say the guys that are likely available if they were interested in Pham, would be Palacios, Gaddis or Tena… almost anyone else, I doubt they even want to trade outside of a big deal (Aka a 3/4 for one type).
Cleveland wants nothing to do with getting Pham…

Pham is not the type of player I want around such a young team. I have absolutely no interest in Pham to Cleveland.
