Brewers say no thanks. They have no interest in Cartaya. They have Contreras for 5 more years with Quero coming up.

Dodgers keep Cartaya and add: Stone/V.Gonzalez/Vargas/Knack to go along with MIller and the Brewers would deal. The only guy that is currently playing for the Dodgers is Vargas and he isn’t setting the world on fire. (I’m not sure about Stone. He may be up with all the SPs injuries). The Brewers get salary relief and shake things up to try and get out of their funk. Turang goes to SS and Vargas to 1B with Tellez to DH. Winker and Voit are DFA’d. Miller to 2B until Urias returns. Stone replaces Burnes with Miller not far behind. The Dodgers, unlike the Brewers, don’t have to worry at all about money and have the wealth to extend both guys. They get a TOR SP to bolster their depleted staff and the SS they wanted.

It looks like the same idiot who has found a way to manipulate the system is back again. This is a great site to play fantasy GM, exchange ideas, and add your own thoughts. It doesn’t need some moron trying to ruin it. As far as this trade goes, I agree the Brewers wouldn’t want Cartaya. I think Vargas would have to be part of the deal with another big league ready pitcher too. With both teams hurting for SPs because of injuries, it’s difficult right now to do this trade. jmont1, the last time I looked Stone was in the big leagues and starting for the Dodgers. I don’t know how eager they would be to part with him right now. Normally Gonzalez wouldn’t be any loss, but with Vesia doing so poorly and now in the minors, LA might have second thoughts on him too. I like your detailed explanation, but I don’t know how feasible your deal would be for the Dodgers.
