This is true..just not now.. Bieber will be starting a minor league game by the end of the week.. all his throwing programs, simulated games, bullpen sessions, etc. have all gone well and he has been physically fine.. The next step is to build innings so that he can start at the ML level.. The current projection is to be available to pitch/start the KC Royals or Baltimore Orioles series provided there are no setbacks… McStix is a day or two ahead or behind that schedule…

They aren’t trading Bieber for nothing… If you aren’t offering a legit prospect or a RF with pop then Cleveland isn’t trading him…
I would look at the Kluber deal, they got a stop gap MLB player and a solid RP prospect… I doubt even that would get Bieber, but that’s closer to what the minimum for Bieber would be…
Count me in Mr. Dodger if the Guardians believe they can keep Grove a SP. If not, then I’ll pass and look to make a deal for Pepiot, Sheehan or Stone. What do your Dodgers need for the 24 season and beyond?

I have no idea if you heard, but Urias has been placed on administrated leave for being arrested for domestic violence. This is his second time doing so.
Yeah I heard, but isn’t he a FA after the 23 season anyway? You guys have a ridiculous amount of SP depth already with all of Bueller, Gonsonlin and May set to return next season. You have Lynn(option), Yarborough, Miller, Sheehan, Pepiot, Grove, Stone, Frasso, Knack, Hurt and Ryan all capable of being good ML SP. Bieber can certainly help stabilize your rotation, but I’d think the Dodgers would want to address any other needs if possible.
This deal depends on how Cleveland’s brass views Grove and I don’t have any idea on that. What I think is that the deal would need to be extended with a better SP than Grove coming back. Otherwise Cleveland is just likely to keep Bieber and watch him walk. Why deal a good SP if you can’t get good value in return? You’d be better of just getting the value of his performance is what I’m thinking.
Cleveland will hold Bieber and let him reestablish his value.
You’ve traded away all of your star pitchers in the last few years. Bieber will be the next to go.

Bieber will likely go, but he more likely go once he establishes some trade value back. Grove provides no motivation for the Guardians.
For now.
For anytime. Grove is not good.
