Milwaukee once again says no to the Red Sox. Houck isn’t close to enough pitching coming back to the Brewers. Verdugo is a rental. The Red Sox have plenty of money to re-sign people, the Brewers don’t. Milwaukee is pretty well set at 2B and Yorke is a 2B. Binelas is a lottery ticket who whiffs a ton. The Brewers would be much better off keeping Megill and Taylor and looking for a better deal in the off season or trading Burnes and Adames at the deadline next year.
Red Sox just laugh and hang up when the Brewers call with this offer.
burnes is technically a rental too buddy
