Would the Phillies trade Bohm in order to get Hader, one of the best relief pitchers in baseball, and Suter, another reliable reliever that is also used as a spot starter. The Brewers also ask for Romero in the hopes that he can develop into a major league pitcher. I’m guessing the Phillies say no but since the Phillies need relief pitching I thought I’d at least make the offer. The Brewers get there 3B with lots of years of control but weaken the bullpen which is now one of their strengths.

As a brewers fan, I love this trade. Maybe also give Gyorko to the Phils as a temporary replacement for Bohm
      .

Thanks for the reply. If adding Gyorko is what the Phillies need added then I agree. Let’s get it done.

Gyorko is a free agent. If the Phillies want him, they would have to sign him on their own.

This comment was posted thinking the brewers would accept Gyorko’s 4.5 million dollar option.

Does seem like the Phillies May have to choose between Hoskins and Bohm. If I was them I’d keep Bohm over Hoskins but I could see the Phillies going either way.

Thanks for your comment. I agree. Of course Suter would be pulled from the trade if the Phillies would offer Hoskins instead. A Hoskins for Hader trade as been offered on this site and it’s a fair trade. I think the Brewers would say no and hope to use Hader on a trade for a 3B. I see Mitch Moreland is now a FA and some team will probably get him for about 2M – 3M on a 1 year deal. Milwaukee maybe?
