Basically Syndergaard for Tauchman and German. Mariners jump in to make Clase for Sanchez to get a DH.
Why would the Mets want to get either of those players at that price? A worse pitcher coming off a big domestic abuse suspension and a 4th outfielder for a pitcher as valuable as Syndegaard? They need Syndergaard anyway.

I’d guess some teams would be hesitant to take on German with his baggage. I’d personally rather not see him on my team.
The Mets are too left-handed right now, so Tauchman isn’t a great fit.
Why would the Yankees trade for Syndergaard? He’s out with TJS and is a FA after the 2021 season. This trade makes no sense for the Yankees.
