Dodgers get Hader who can replace Kenley Jansen as the Dodgers closer.

Brewers get Edwin Rios, who can fill the need at third base.

They also get Matt Beaty who can be a great bench piece and he can play first if Vogelbach gets hurt. Beaty is also capable of playing LF, and he could be the 4th outfielder.

In addition, the brewers receive two prospects Devin Mann and Clayton Beeter. Orlando Arcia is not the solution for the brewers at short, and Beeter can be a great future 2 or 3 starter a or bullpen piece.

I think Edwin Rios is definitely a great starting point for a Hader trade, and Beaty & Beeter are good throw in pieces. I think Mann could probably be replaced with a 1B prospect, considering the Brewers already have Luis Urias, Keston Hiura, and soon Brice Turang in the middle infield.

I would say a definite no thanks. Beeter hasn’t even played pro ball yet. Beaty wouldn’t make their 26-man roster. Mann is a good throw-in and Rios is a good start. All together it’s far too weak for Hader.
