*This assumes that the Angels are not going to resign Andrelton Simmons from FA.*

The departure of Andrelton has created a hole in the infield, and Xavien Howard could fill that spot alongside Fletch. Nick Anderson anchors a ‘pen with Raisel Iglesias and Alex Claudio. He had a great season for the Rays; however, Diego Castillo did too, making Anderson a trade chip.

From the Rays’ standpoint, Brandon Marsh can replace KK in the outfield as they go full force into the Wander Years.

I agree with a lot of this; however, I don’t see the Rays taking cash back in any trade. Their entire model is built on acquiring prospects for $3M and turning them into top prospects worth $20M.

Swap the cash for Kochanowicz and I think you have something.
