  1. Wrong Verb

Let’s do a blockbuster. Reds get their future shortstop. Jays get the coveted Luis Castillo.

The only people giving this a thumbs down are Jay’s fans who want to dump players like Gurriel jr and Groshans plus minor parts for Castillo. They are starting to sound like Yankee fans.

The Reds are the ones with the bargaining power here, not the other way around. I don’t want them trading Castillo, Suarez or Gray, but other teams fans love to include them in offers for their tier two players. Groshans is a top tier prospect, no doubt. However it would take three Groshans to equal one Luis Castillo. When a realistic offer comes their way, it gets downvoted to heck.

  2. Wrong Verb

I’m not a fan of the dislike button here anyway. This ought to be a fun site for fans, and that button takes away from it.

      Have to disagree.
Way to many trades want Louis for tier 2 prospects.
The Thumbs down, shows how feel about most the trades I see.
      4 10’s and 30 and a 20 do not equal a 110 value player.
Please keep the Thumbs down John.

We think it would be better to specify it by team. So in this case you’d have an up/down vote for the Reds and another one for the Blue Jays. That would change it more into a “who says no” type of thing rather than a generic one, where it’s unclear.

Bichette is untouchable, you can say the same for Castillo. That’s why this trade gets thumbs down.
