Dodgers get Verdugo to play LF, replacing Pollock.

Red Sox address a lot of holes, getting their long term catcher (Ruiz), ace pitcher (May). They also get Pollock to replace Verdugo in CF, and Peters as a potential 4th OF. Beeter (LA #12 prospect) and Knack (LA #13 prospect) add to the Red Sox farm.

    Thoughts?

LAD giving up too much — Busch may turn out to be a sufficient slugging LF.

Maybe keep May and substitute Gray for May. Still too much for 4y of Verdugo ?

Still, all of these save LAD 15m aav +

The Dodgers wouldn’t give up a young pitcher for Betts and originally found it necessary to bring in the Twins to get one in the deal. And when that fell apart, they decided to keep the young pitcher for themselves. So absolutely no way does Friedman reverse that policy and give up a young pitcher for Verdugo, along with a lot of other young talent he is going to need to make minimum wage so he can afford to keep Betts, Bellinger, Bauer and whoever will be at shortstop in 2022…
