The Dodgers get rid of Jansen’s and Kelly’s salaries, while getting the #2 and #3 prospects in the Angels farm system. They also get the #12 one in Ramirez, all while shaving millions of salary from the payroll.

The Angels get 2 bullpen pieces and a mid-range developing starter who at 25-26, could be TOR quality. They also get a bit of cash to help with the contracts.

    Thoughts?

Dodgers aren’t trading May for this return. Sorry.

When we stop judging Jansen by his great past performance, he’s still above average RP.
He may still produce 2-2.5 Fwar in 2021 but is unlikely play-off closer.
LAD doesn’t need to trade Jansen. Kelly is fair tradebait but LAD probably will have to pay the 2022 4m b/o.
LAA doesn’t get May without returning Adell or Marsh (even that is not a great fit).
