  1. The Prodigy

The Nationals clear $76.7 million dollars off their payroll, while getting an interesting conglomeration of prospects and a controllable, develop-able young pitcher in Ynoa.

The Braves add that $76.7 million, but this gives them a real chance of going to October, with two good pitchers and a backup SS if necessary. They also get $60 million to help try to re-sign Scherzer or help with Corbin’s contract.

  2. Kade Donaldson

this trade will never happen. Max Scherzer might be finishing his carrer in Washington and the Braves like the young rotation they are building with Ynoa, Fried, Anderson, and Soroka. i can see them adding someone like roark.
