I highly doubt the Mariners would be willing to get rid of Noelvi Marte, however they do have JP Crawford whos defense is still elite and his bat came a lot more alive in 2021 and he became the everyday leadoff hitter. Also Noelvi Marte’s defense hasn’t been incredible although it did improve a lot in between Low A and High A this year and with SS being a premium defensive position I would assume the organization would want to keep Crawford.
