If the Rays have to chip in cash or prospects to move KK, so be it, but they won’t be trading a top prospect like Wilcox to do so. That’s insane.
FYI – Wilcox’s value is in the single digits only because he’s recovering from TJS. His performance this year would have had him ranked in the top 100 prospects and he’d have a trade value closer to 20 if so (and be viewed as a key piece for the Rays’ future rotation). Rays aren’t going to sell low on him, certainly not for a return like Deichmann.
