This would be a horrendous trade for the Brewers. They trade the best closer in baseball and a good starting pitcher and get nothing but one good maybe (Miller) who won’t help their situation. They have no use for Beatty or Kiner-Falefa who is already in arby and would be a costly bench player. Bruns is 19 and no help for 3-4 years, if ever.
A big no thanks from the Brewers. Beatty wouldn’t make their roster. Bruns is so young he is irrelevant. Falefa might be of some interest as a reserve. Miller is a decent prospect. Just not close to enough for Hader, much less Hader and Lauer. I believe the only way Hader is traded is for the big bat the Brewers are looking for.
