    I don’t see the logic of trading one of the Rays’ top prospects for another reliever and a lefty 1B/OF who doesn’t yet produce to his potential (and may never). I’d rather keep Brujan.

    Rays are always looking for good cost controlling players and both of these players are such, if you haven’t seen Smith play he is very good inCF and at 1st a rare combo also hits well without striking out much

      Smith cannot handle CF. He put up negative 10 DRS and negative 21.3 UZR last year. He’s a 1B and maybe a COF only.

      I would love to see Walls at SS, Franco at 3B and Brujan as the utility infielder for the Rays next year. Don’t know that I expect that, but it’s what I want to see.
