    The Brewers say no. They aren’t going to give Burnes away just to rid themselves of Yelich’s contract. They get no pitchng in return and that would end the talks immediately. Torres just adds more payroll. Florial would be sent down right away and Hick DFA’d or given away. Unless Cortes is part of the deal, the Yankees don’t have the pitching to make a deal for Burnes. Milwaukee would rather keep Yelich and trade Burnes for pitching.
