I love it! This makes a lot of sense on both sides. Cleveland needs the outfield help, but they can’t afford to take on a huge contract and they probably don’t want to push all of their chips in for a likely Wild Card spot. But here, they give up a handful of young mid-range prospects and make a solid, albeit unspectacular, upgrade with Santana. The only hold-up I can see here is Lenny Torres’ elbow injury, but he could easily be swapped for a similar prospect. Great job!
Great point about Torres elbow injury, but he’s also only 18 so I doubt it would stop much of anything if the M’s truly believe he can reach his high point on projections. Thank you for the feedback!

This makes too much sense to actually happen. But Santana makes a world of sense for Cleveland.
