Austin Wells, borderline 100 prospect, would fit Well with Reds system both at positions of need and the ‘winning window’. Wells has shown solid pop and good contact thus far and looks to be ready to help an MLB team as early as 2023. He’s listed as Catcher but some worry that he will actually move to a corner OF position which may lower his value somewhat. His LH bat will play at Great American Ballpark. I could see him being a LF, DH or backup catcher and would be willing to part ways with some of our middle INF talent like McLain. Not sure the Yankees would though as a they have some high level middle INF talent as well. Maybe offer Diaz for Wells and someone like Spencer Jones.
