I’m all for trading Bieber, but the Guardians aren’t going to deal Gimenez. They sure as hell are going to take anything less than a major overpay and you’re shorting Cleveland in this deal. Pretty shitty deal from Cleveland’s perspective actually.

In what planet would you think Cleveland would make this trade? They are not in rebuilding mode. But of course, you only looked at the Dodger side, without considering where the Guardians are at and what they need.

I was thinking that Pepiot and Cartaya would be a good return for Bieber, but with Cartaya lacking defensively that doesn’t bode well with what Cleveland demands from their C.

Busch being a LHH along with Cleveland having plenty of MIFers and LHH he isn’t a good fit either.

Maybe a package of Stone, Vargas and Pepiot would be better if Cleveland decided to deal Bieber? As of now, that doesn’t appear to be the case.

And you still get (I’m assuming) a Dodger fan voting this down! This trade puts LA as the favorite to win the World Series. Why would any Dodger fan say no?

    Hmmm…

The Dodgers can keep Busch and Pages… Replace them with Miller and Galiz..

Then, the Guardians would still say no..

    It’s that simple..
