  1. I don’t see this as a good one for the Indians. They get one good bat in Verdugo and give up a good power bat in Reyes and and a controllable young starter in Plesac. Cleveland says no.

I dont know iI think Benintendi is prime for a bounce back and chavis has alot of upside

      • Benintendi was totally lost at the plate in 2020 and is not worth the risk. Basically, this is two trades. Cleveland would not trade Reyes for Chavis, Benintendi, and Duran. I don’t think either Boston or Cleveland would trade Verdugo and Plesac.

Although i will say i could see the indians moving plesac, they had no problem moving bauer and kluber, and they have alot of pitching depth to make it work

  2. The major difference with the Indians moving pitchers have been salary and years of control. At the time of each trade, Bauer had 1 1/2 years of control, Kluber one year with an option, and Clevinger 2 years and a month. Plesac has 5 years of control and does not cost anything. That is why I don’t see Plesac being traded.
