    Meyer is rehabbing, so that’s a plus. Eder has yet to take the mound as part of his recovery. Watson is still striking out at a 40% clip.

      Certainly wouldn’t be the first time the A’s acquired a highly-outed, but injured pitcher. And I’m not super worried about a teenager’s strikeout rate in A-ball, especially one as talented as Watson.

        The A’s tend to wait until the injured pitcher makes it back to the mound. They made an exception with Hoglund and I think that was a mistake. Normally I’d be more patient on a teenager in A-ball but a 40% K-rate and a 60% GB-rate is scary bad.
